Sports and exercise can be powerful tool for developing a healthy body and mind. Various games and sports are taught in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for the all round development of students.
Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC sainj has been providing varied opportunities to the students to support their holistic development. Games & Sports is one such activity which is carried out at multiple levels for both boys and girls. Students selected at one level participate in the meet at the next level viz., Schools participate at Cluster/Regional level, Regions participate at KVS National level and KVS teams participate in the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) / Subroto Cup International Football Tournament. In year 2024-25, 46 students participated in kvs regional sport meet and 40 students secured different positions. Out of these 30 students were selected for kvs national sports meet.
