Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP)

The Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP) in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) aims to address the academic gaps faced by students who miss classes due to participation in extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural events, and competitions at regional and national levels. The program is designed to help students catch up on missed academic content through structured remedial measures. This initiative ensures that students involved in diverse activities do not fall behind in their studies and maintain academic continuity​.
Additional time is given by Teachers to compensate academic loss to Students who participate in various Sports, Scout & Guide and Co-curricular activities organised in/out of the Vidyalaya.
