About KV

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sainj Kullu is a co-educational project school sector institution under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. It is located in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. Affiliated to CBSE Board, the school initially started on 01-04-2002.

Since its inception in 2002, Vidyalaya has continuously given 100% results in CBSE Board Exams. Being a hard station students have excelled in KVS National Level Competitions.

Gradual Year Wise Expansion in Classes and Sections Leading to Present Status :

2002-03 Class started upto VIII,  2003-04 Class IX 2004-05 Class X 2006-07 Class XI Sc Started 2007-08 Class XII Sc 2009-10 Class XI Comm started 2010-11 Class XII Commerce.

KV NHPC SAINJ KULLU has a permanent building for classes X to XII and Temporary Building for Classes 1 to IX provided by NHPC Sainj Kullu , having 14 class rooms, 3 science labs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology separately and 2 Computer Labs, Maths Lab . The school is equipped with Primary Resource Room,  Music Department, ART/SUPW Department, Scout and Guide department, Exam Department and Library.

In addition to this KV SAINJ KULLU also has an ATAL TINKERING LAB established under Atal Innovation Mission which aims to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc.

Facilities for games and sports like volley-ball, basket-ball, kho-kho, kabaddi , badminton, Table Tennis & children park are available in the Vidyalaya premises. The vidyalaya also has a YOGA ROOM and Gymnasium as well. School has all the state- de- art infrastructure and well qualified and experienced teaching faculty.
